Common questions

Answers before you call.

Most homeowners ask us the same handful of questions before they pick up the phone — here are the honest answers.

01

How much does tree removal cost in Effingham County, Savannah, or Bryan County?

Tree removal pricing depends on height, lean, proximity to structures, and access — but most residential trees across Effingham County, the Savannah metro, and Bryan County land between a few hundred dollars for a small tree and the low thousands for a large hardwood near a house. We give every customer a free, no-pressure estimate.

02

Do you take down dangerous or leaning trees?

Yes — leaning trees, dead trees, and storm-damaged trees are exactly the work we specialize in. With 45 years of saw experience and proper rigging, we drop trees safely even when they're close to houses, sheds, fences, or power lines. We handle hurricane and storm-cleanup calls as a priority.

03

Do you handle the cleanup after a tree comes down?

Always. Cleanup of all limbs, brush, and debris is included in every quote unless you specifically ask us to leave the wood. We haul it off-site so your yard is ready to walk on the same day.

04

What's the difference between stump grinding and stump removal?

Stump grinding takes the stump 6–10 inches below grade so you can plant grass, lay sod, or pour concrete over it — and that's what most homeowners want. Full stump excavation (digging out the whole root ball) is more invasive and almost never necessary unless you're putting in a structural footing.

05

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry general liability and worker's coverage for every job. We can send a copy of our insurance certificate before we start work if you'd like one for your records.

06

How fast can you get to a job?

Most non-emergency jobs across Effingham County, Savannah, and Bryan County are scheduled within 1–2 weeks. Emergency tree removal — trees on houses, blocked driveways, hazardous leans — is prioritized same-day or next-day whenever weather allows.

07

Do you only serve Guyton?

No. We work across Effingham County, the Savannah metro, and Bryan County — Guyton, Rincon, Springfield, Savannah, Pooler, Port Wentworth, Garden City, Bloomingdale, Tybee Island, Wilmington Island, Richmond Hill, Pembroke, and Ellabell. If you're in a neighboring town, give us a call and we'll let you know.

08

Do you do land clearing or lot clearing?

Yes — we handle brush removal, overgrown-lot clearing, and small-tree clearing to prep land for fencing, driveways, or new construction. We bring saws, tractor, and a grapple, and we haul off all debris when the job is done.

09

Can you also pour concrete after the tree is out?

Yes. After we clear the area, we can install concrete patios, walkways, and steps — a popular finish for the space where a tree used to be.

10

Do you work with HOAs, apartments, or commercial properties?

Yes. We handle ongoing tree work for HOAs, apartment communities, and commercial properties across Effingham County and the Savannah metro — including service contracts and storm-response priority. Certificate of insurance on file, and we schedule around your operations.
